It seems we have run into some logistical problems with the location. Several of your officers are currently working to make sure that the next scheduled picnic goes off without a hitch. As you will see in the Junior Warden’s report for this month, the traveling gavel adventure was a great success. Congratulations to all the brethren who made this event so successful. It brought a lot of visiting brethren to our lodge. On the same night that we had brethren visiting from three different lodges, it was also my privilege to give out a 60 year award and we had a presentation from Jobs Daughters of Bethel #40. It was a very special evening. I will be out of town for the first meeting of this month. This does not surprise many of you. This will be the first time many of our officers have had to step-up and fill some of these positions. Please give them your full support. I know they will do a great job as always. Please remember that even though we go dark next month, we have some events planned during our dark period. We are working on our picnic for July 18th and we are planning a movie night in August. Both of these events will be for the entire family. If you have not been to lodge in awhile, please plan to join us soon. I think you will find that your lodge is becoming very active.
